Talked to their rep here and he told me they're nothing but fancy HD600.

And the difference between the HD580 and HD600 isn't particularly great either.

Oh. Just got a pair of HD 500's.
Might not be the top of the line, but they are so remarkedly better than what i had before.
Now I have to recompile al my .mp3's.
