The SE T610 seems a very good choice. Also the T630 which has a different design (it kinda looks like a Mac) and a better screen.

If you decide to go for a T610 and don't want a new contract I have an 'as new' boxed T610 (I'll check which network, I think it can be unlocked) which I was going to stick on eBay for a mate.
PM me if you're interested.

Even this old phone can sync with calendar applications (albeit relatively limited).
I think the (recent) feature you are looking for is called SyncML:
(just checked: Microsoft is not part of this alliance)
Some manufacturers have proprietary software which might allow synching with other software (perhaps Outlook).
I'm also looking out for a phone, but I would like to be able to use its internal mail client (or Java MIDP client or something). Only issue is that my mailserver requires secure connections, and I haven't found a phone whose mailclient supports this.
Any advice here ?

Hmm, I looked around at mobile phones on the web today.
The z600 is sweet, but too expensive for me. Also, the Motorola v500/v600 look nice as well.
I really don't need a camera though, grrr.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

The Samsung SGH-i500 looks very interesting... It runs Palm OS 5.2, and appears to have the features I'm looking for. It has no bluetooth though, but an SDIO compatible slot so bluetooth could be added...
Chances are that I'll go for this model, once it becomes available (depending on the price).

The z600 would be absolutely perfect if it came without a camera. Why would I want a camera in my phone?Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. Bastard coated bastards with bastard filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive, bubble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine. -- Dr. Perry Cox
