  • Which BitTorrnet Client?

I have been using the Shadow experimental BT client for a while now, but recently it has stated stalling in the middle of downloads.

What clients do you guys use?

There also might be other causes:
      - flash your router to lattest/best working firmware
      - drivers for NIC
      - I noticed that ZoneAlarm corrupts files with DC++ and you can no longer resume. I switched to Kerio.

I don't think so, I have the same issue. Suddenly downloads stop in the middle for now reason. I thought it was just me...interesting.

            This one is pretty good.

I use PTC. I haven't tried out too many other clients to find out which one is the best. I've had no complants about PTC to want to switch to something else.

I should have bought an ATI.

I've heard Azureus (sp?) mentioned a lot. Apparently it can told to grab only specific parts of a download, or specific files from a multi-file torrent. Not tried it myself, I just use the "official" client.

                  Using Shareaza for now.
Its ok, without being darn good.

Does have the option of downloading via a host of other downloads...

shareaza sucks at bittorrent downloads. I have had far too many downloads corrupted by that POS.

                    ABC seems pretty cool

been using Shadow Experiemental versions till today and it's been replaced by ABC (as suggested by agallag). ABC seems good. The ability to put multiple downloads in one single window is great saving much computer resources. Download speed seems as good as Shadow's
