Crappy ATI drivers

    It is mostly Microsoft's fault because of the DirectX bug. It affects users of DirectX 9.0b with non-NTSC tv tuners. Apparently the problem only manifests on some TV tuner and Capture app combinations. Using ATI's Multimedia Center with any ATI capture card is one of these unlucky combinations (I have successfully used WinDVR and an All-in-Wonder without the fix).

      Been there done that. It now works after the unincluded DX9 patch and little prompting.

        I think it has fuxX0r3d my ATi TV Wonder. In fact mmc 8.9 will not even install. I do have it kind of sort of working in XP (mmc8.8 and dscaler) but the quality varies, and sometimes i get a green screen.

            Tell you one thing it the displays a lot better than my Wintv. Very nice.

            Anyone know how to get more than one teletext window open???
