Planning to get this http://www.netgear.com/products/details/DG834.php for ADSL modem/routing duties. Anyone used it before? Seems relatively cheap but is it worth getting?

Should add that PPPOA is a must as we don't use PPPOE here.[size=1]D3/\/7YCR4CK3R

Works fine here very easy to setup and hadn't an intrusion since it's been installed.

Paddy has the 834...he's had a few problems with certain firmwares and Virgin, but it was ok with Zen.
I've set a couple of people up with the 834G (wifi version). No problems with that or the PCI wifi card, or wired connections. I have had issues using a WG511T wifi PC card in an old Acer Travelmate lappy.
The 834G auto discovers the adsl protocol too - dead easy to set up. Presumably the 834 is simillar minus the wifi?
