    Yes, I noticed that I started looking at my screen in a different way since I have cleartype.. it's like I don't try and focus precisely on it anymore, but rather glance over it.

      just out of interest, whats the difference between cleartype and matrox glyph anti-aliasing?
      is a flower best picked in it's prime or greater withered away by time?
      Talk about a dream, try to make it real.

        Cleartype uses the TFT's RGB subpixels to provide the AA at a smaller-than-pixel level. Glyph AA only works with whole pixels, but does do gamma correction AFAIK.

          FYI: ClearType also works on most aperture grille monitors (Trinitron, Diamondtron, etc.).
