    I have 1.5mbit down, 256kbit up. I have a total of 64gig of download allowance before downloads cost $5 a gig.

    For this somewhat low end connection, I pay $134 a month

    I live in australia of course.

              Ah, my ISP offer 8Mbit down and 1 up starting from yesterday. My puny 2Mbit connection is going to be upgraded. You guessed right I'll be getting it in no time!!!

                My cable provider is 10mbit Down and 1 Up...though i'm capped at 138kbps now...need to call them and tell them to uncap me

                  comparably slow 512 down/ 128 up ADSL.
                  could get up to 2Mbit down here tho, but havent the need yet..although i am still regretting the 10Mbit up/down i had in uni.
