Actually, this is the kind of thing that drivers would be the best solution. It doesn't look like the Windows drivers will do it. The mga Linux drivers will, though.

Yes there is a way, themes. They wont replace all the program icons but generally you can find one that does a pretty good job of it. Like: http://www.customize.org/details/26530-We stop learning when We die, and some

Ever heard of it? It's like an entire WinXP skin, they make icons and all. I don't know if there is a gray theme, I'm sure there is. Only problem is, you better have a lot of memory, sucks it up like a...well it takes a lot (not that much, but even with 512 megs on my notebook, running this program, including all the mem XP takes, it was quite slow).
