That must be the 30th official release date since D3 was first mentione in public
I'll take it with a rather large grain of salt.
I mean they still ship Stacraft:Ghost in Fall 2004, which was pushed back to 2005 like a week ago.no matrox, no matroxusers. -

Gamestop and EB games are the official preorder people linked to from idsoftware.
Previusly EB games didn't have an ETA, but now they both state in red letters 3rd of August....I think its accurate
The other linked retailer is bestbuy, but they have had a eta date up for quite a while so it is probably a guess (14/7/04)

I'm looking forward to HL2 more then Doom3 to tell u the truth, but I'll get this anyway, just hope it doesnt depress me that my system won't be able to run it that great. Dont have the $$$ for a new system for a while
