use bluetooth phone as remote control
Slightly inspired by this thread
about the Sony remote control, here is something interesting...
Software (open source
) that allows you to use your mobile (must be Series 60: Nokia 6600, 7650, Siemens SX1, ...) as a remote control. 
It controls powerpoint, winamp, media player, ... and allows you to browse your files.
And with bluetooth, it is wireless!
And it runs both on Windows and Linux
