There's no point in paying extra.

Still at 2MB, though besdies having 2 100MB Yahoo and 1 1000MB Gmail account (of course I also have 1 pop3 and 1 imap account).

No, he actually has MSN as his ISP. So he gets 2 GB, with a max email size of 20 MB.

Same here. Hotmail is my need to get it but don't want to spammed, on my regular email, email place.

                        LMAO.
Everybody that I know with MSN is on dial-up. How long does it take to send that 20MB email????

Edit: I just realized that 20MB could include a whole bunch of email that didn't get sent because the recipient rejected it

It's kinda funny. My cable ISP has partnered with Yahoo for email services, so we get a free account with 2GB of storage. We don't even use that account. It is totally overrun with spam. I've got a personal domain, and my mom uses a free yahoo account. I don't see any reason to have that much storage in a personal email account.

My work account on the other hand...

Our SBC DSL account uses Yahoo mail. With the spam filter turned on there is very little, if any, spam on that addy. OTOH some other addys I have are full of it.

why would you get spammed with hotmail?
the only emails I get in my spam folder are murc PM notification messages which get misdetected as spam.

what does suck about hotmail is that it lacks POP and smtp access. Outlook has an experimental hotmail protocol handling, but there's enough reason to not use outlook for email
