Fraps can do it. Munches HD space though.The Welsh support two teams when it comes to rugby. Wales of course, and anyone else playing England

I think the program you were originally looking for was Game Cam .
I tried the free version and it works pretty well. My version is 1.0 and doesn't include sound or all the possible higher resolutions, but it looks like they have a v1.2 now where sound might be included.
I used it to make a few .avi files of my UT2004 map so that I could show it off to folks at work on a big conference room screen.
