I'm finally getting back to this thread. Sorry to hear about your bad experience with both DiscountLaptops and Dell.
So, what's your current laptop status?
In terms of a vendor, I can highly recommend Puget Custom Computers -- http://www.pugetsystems.com
I can't say enough good things about the quality of their customer service, and they offer a fine selection of Sager laptops as well. If you remain interested in the Sager 3790, I recommend checking out Puget. FYI: They're in the process of updating the info on their website. It's not immediately apparent, for example, that their "Centrino Sidekick" is the Sager 3790. But just click on the name, and you'll see that they do indeed offer the 3790.
As noted in a much earlier post, they really go above and beyond and will do everything possible to get you a laptop that suits your needs and your budget.
