    Cheers!
The Welsh support two teams when it comes to rugby. Wales of course, and anyone else playing England

Or maybe find your way to the Dell outlet on that website. Remember you can always haggle with Dell on the phone.

As they get their components at probably the cheapest prices on the planet.

Dell just sent me a brochure .

      Dell Dimension 2400 Desktop
      P4 2.8 (533 bus, 512k cache)
      Win XP Home
      CD-RW/ DVD combo
      512 DDR Ram
      Works 7.0
      15" Analog TFT
      Stereo speakers
      56k Modem

      £579 incl delivery and vat

      Perfect.

      The code was E-VALUE NPIUK5-D1027P

      Dell Dimension 3000

      Or the a Celeron D 335 (2.8Ghz 533 fsb 256k cache)
      XP Home
      512 DDR
      80gb 7200 hdd
      17" analogue flat panel
      48x cdrw/dvd combo drive
      56k modem
      stereo speakers

      Code E-value NPIUK5-D1037

      £569 incl delivery and vat

Slightly more Perfect. As that is a £10 towards a student version of Office 2003 which is cheap. Or towards anthing else. Like a floppy disk drive.

If she's going towards her PhD, I would suggest getting the Office 2003 vs the Works 7.0 bundle. Its probably what she's use to and what her peers use as well.

Avoid the "Dell Dimension 2400" at all cost, that model is pure crap (no AGP port, etc).

Actually, avoid Dell computers at all cost but that's just my personal opinion.
            Main: Dual Xeon LV2.4Ghz@3.1Ghz | 3X21" | NVidia 6800 | 2Gb DDR | SCSI
            Second: Dual PIII 1GHz | 21" Monitor | G200MMS + Quadro 2 Pro | 512MB ECC SDRAM | SCSI
            Third: Apple G4 450Mhz | 21" Monitor | Radeon 8500 | 1,5Gb SDRAM | SCSI
