Well unlike pure hedonists such as yourself, some of us have to be able to rely on the machine working when needed!
(well, as much as you can with MS stuff at least )
BTW there is a Beta 64bit Radeon driver available but it dates back to May!
Thanks MMM. When I get my 32-bit problems solved I'll give that a try.
At first I was getting "stop: c0000221 Unknown hard error" and a report of corrupt DLLs when first going into Windows. I know my 2nd HDD is a little flaky (I hear the occasional squaky seek) so with a combination of drive connects/disconnects and soft/hard reboots I was able to finally get XP Pro installed on the new rig late last night. This morning it wasn't until I put the main drive on its own (and not using the Icy Dock rack) that I managed to boot - was was just getting a generic "there has been a drive read error, press C-A-D to reboot".
I need to do more testing to feel happy about this new board!
When it is working, it sure flies!
