The only manufacturers who seem keen on their chipsets are the low end ones such as PC Chips, Jetway, ASRock etc, so if one does appear it will probably be very basicWhen you own your own business you only have to work half a day. You can do anything you want with the other twelve hours.

Yup I've used Asrock in cheapo systems - no huge feature list but seem stable and reliable, which is what you want...
ECS has also been OK for me (my webserver is on one of their boards and has now been running 24/7 - apart from moving house - for 2 years or so with no problems), but between the two I'd go Asrock.DM says: Crunch with Matrox Users@ClimatePrediction.net

normally SiS chipsets take a long time after the rest to hit the markets, but i am fine with it as they seem to have the least problems and are very stable if a bit slow in gaming. if you are not into overclocking, you could be very happy with SiS chipsets.
Asrock are a good cheaper solution, normally Giga-byte, MSI and Asus in that order would release SiS based motherboards after their usual offerings.Life is a bed of roses. Everyone else sees the roses, you are the one being gored by the thorns.
