  • New annoying Flash banner ads

Anyone noticed that these MSN Search banners that are showing up everywhere eat up a whole hell of a lot of CPU power? Over at Rage3D it's really bad, on the front page you'll often get two of 'em, one on top and one lower down on the right side.

    I'm sorry, notice what?

    Firefox with AdBlock.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

I found FlashBlock a little while ago, it stops them plus it puts a placeholder up that you can click on to run Flash animations you want. I'll look into AdBlock too, thanks.
