MSIE beating all other browsers in quality of code?

Yeah, read about that Opera bug this morning. Though it's not as if there haven't been exploits to make IE crash at once - and with nastier side effects. In Opera, a crash only means a 30 second delay in browsing.

That's not to say they shouldn't fix it, of course. But I'd rather have my browser crash than offering my harddrive to the whole internet </polemics>

With all due respect:
Let's take 3 cars - Toyota, Mazda and Ford (for example)
Let's put them all in antartica and make them drive there during a blizzard. Should the car reaching the end line be considered the best, safest road car ?
My peugeot 205 can drive on surfaces that no Ferarri, Lamborgini, Aston Martin, Jaguar etc. could drive on without getting totally ruined. Does it mean my 205 is better than all those cars ?"For every action, there is an equal and opposite criticism."

William: The Opera weakness only causes Opera to crash - maybe a buffer overflow relating to this will be found, at the moment it only crashes the browser.
TX: Yes, your Peugeot 205 IS better than all those cars, for all practical purposes. But what does this have to do with this thread?
