Mousing Surfaces?

Any suggestions on what to use to replace my ratpadz? I wasn't too impressed by the Ratpadz...only thing it did was wear down the feet on my mice

yeah, I'm using a func pad (its actually a Alienware one that I won at a LAN, but it's still func pad), its working pretty good. Depends on what you do though, a lot of the hardcore gamers use steelpads (4D or 4S), but some people dont like the hard mousepads because you end up with a big callous on your wrist from the harsh rubbing. I would suggest goin out to the computer places and checkin out the different pads.

I myself have a nice big callous on my wrist from my func pad.

I just use the surface of my desk, it work like a charm and no special pads required.
