    And err the use is.

    I'm surprised it's still there. Belongs in the recycle bin as does vi.

      What the hell are you talking about, PIT? Vi is the best console editor out there.
      Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

                    works for me 2. least on my laptop here. It was not upgraded from 2000 to XP.

                        I can outperform whatever you're coding in with Vi. Guaranteed. Having regular expression matching and all that at your fingertips is unparalleled. Go get gvim and learn to use it correctly.
