How to do it? I am able to do it in XP but I can't seem to be able to find an option for this in 2000...

In explorer:
Tools>Folder Options>General
In the Tasks setting, select 'Use Windows Classic Folders'
I think thats what you're trying to do?
EDIT: Blah just saw that you said you're tying to do it in 2K. Sorry, don't know if its the same way there, as I don't have a 2K system here at home to check.
