"Perhaps they communicate by changing colour? Like those sea creatures .."
"Lobsters?"
"Really? I didn't know they did that."
"Oh yes, red means help!"
The minimum wage is usually that much higher in europe too, that the difference in "hours worked" to get something is not too great. Here in Canada, the minumum wage is ~$7CDN/hour.. 10 years ago in Denmark, it was ~$14CDN
But back to the topic at hand, I too would like to have one of those mini Macs sitting around to play with

Jeremy Clarkson "806 brake horsepower..and that on that limp wrist faerie liquid the Americans call petrol, if you run it on the more explosive jungle juice we have in Europe you'd be getting 850 brake horsepower..."

Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
Wouldn't help much. They'd have to get their own power cable, too.

It's my understanding that the PSU is external on the mini, therefore alleviating any concerns there may be about overheating. The small fan that appears to be in the main unit would only have to exhaust cpu and hdd heat.
As for "chewing" the new iPod, Apple have chosen to compare its deminutive size with chewing gum packets in their promotional material.
wohoo, the price here is 2099 zł, still worse than in $ but better than in €. I think I'm going to stop upgrading my pc and try to buy this thing :>
edit: correction, Apple.pl claims that the price is based on:
Euro = 4.1095 zl, USD = 3.1098 zl
This rate of exchange is absolutely incorrect, but assuming it is...the price is even higher than in € , no to mention $
I guess Apple just doesn't care about this market...
