Euhm, slightly on topic: what is that shortcut to open taskmanager, but with the processes view open?

(I know there is one, ctrl-alt-del opens taskman with the last view open)

You know ... I recently got a new keyboard with a "Windows" key on it for my HTPC and I've never used that key (don't even notice it). I've been using the same clackety keyboard now on my desktop system for something like 16 years so it predates MSFT keyboards (and even a PS/2 connection). I'll have to experiment with the key now ...

I'm actually bothered by the Windowskey (my PC at work has it), and I never use it. So at home I use an old Cherry Business keyboard (those heavy ones, with the wide space near the top), and have 5 exact same keyboards which I keep as spares.
Seeing that I'm still on my first one after 8 years, I guess those 5 will last me a lifetime.

Someone used ctrl+c, ctrl+v to make their post

To see all the shortcut keys in Windows:

                      Win Key + F1
                      ctrl+c -> Windows keyboard shortcuts
                      ctrl+v in Search
                      Click the big green arrow
Click on "Windows keyboard shortcuts overview" in the left frame

Display or hide the Start menu.

Win+BREAK Display the System Properties dialog box.
                      Win+D Show the desktop.
                      Win+M Minimize all windows.
                      Win+Shift+M Restores minimized windows.
                      Win+E Open My Computer.
Win+F Search for a file or folder.
CTRL+ Win +F Search for computers.
                      Win+F1 Display Windows Help.
Win+ L Lock your computer if you are connected to a network domain, or switch users if you are not connected to a network domain.
Win +R Open the Run dialog box.
Display the shortcut menu for the selected item.
                      Win +U Open Utility Manager.

I use the Win + D, E, R, Pause/Break; Alt+F4 shortcuts the most. I find that those shortcuts are the most common used for my administrative work.

We forgot the "alt + tab" which is nice when you have 20 some applications open at the same time.

Oh yes. And ctrl+tab which switches between subwindows of applications, and between tabs (like those in display properties).
