  • Dell to offer 24" WS for $1200 on March 1st

This seems impressive to me. I'll wait for the reviews of course but the one review looks good so far. I wish I had money

Nice Monitor...give it a year or two and you can get it for $500 bucks like you can get the 2001FP now!
Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

They might have finally come up with a monitor to compete with my HP L2335. Careful about the missing HDCP capability as that will bite you soon on HD content. Also, buy you're non-broadcast flag HD tuner cards before July 5 2005 because the Feds are going to insist on that support after that date.

Sounds good! Shame I can't find one here!

Copy protection. The Feds are cracking down on all the CES equipment manufacturers to enforce the BF. Right now it's “Don’t ask, don’t tell” on many hobbyist pieces (like my MyHD tuner card).

The big question is who really makes it

Spec wise it's very close to this model, although this one is 23" rather than 24"

Dell make really nice screens so im hoping they hav'nt compromised on the quality here just to bring out a new price point in mega sized LCD's.
Fromthe specs it looks great, i guess we will only find out when it hits the shelves.

Well if the 2001FP is anything to go by, it should be a really nice panel
