Well, I was thinking bad XP disk too, but this very same disk has worked several times. Also, what you don't know is the other disk is a non-bootable, older XP disk that seemed suspect to me. Finally, trying my XP disk in another computer proved to me it was bad.

And the RAID...maybe it's just me but it doesn't feel blazingly fast like everyone describes. I'm gonna run HDtach soon and make sure everything is in order.
