Apparently they include OpenGL 2 although according to the responces on rage3d they sound quite buggy especially so in openGL so I think I'll stay with my 4.12's for the time being.

The reported bugs with opengl were solved by resetting the defaults.

Err had to do a manual install on one machine due an inf error. CCC now works again. Otherwise seem okay.

On the other machine the setup hung on reboot but otherwise was okay. Risked upgrading MMC which worked but brought nothing new to the table so don't bother really.

No softmod drivers yet.
Anyone else actually use them?
