asus and cpu temperature

The Athlons are overclocked from 1.866 to 2.66 and overvolted to 1.775 (mobile Bartons 2500+). I have also turned down fans a bit, they run cooler and quieter at lover voltage than regular 2500+ Bartons used to run at.

I oc my 2.8 GHz to 3.5 GHz with no change in temps or perceptible increase in noise. The system is relatively quiet but I could throttle the fans if it becomes a problem. Right now the system is sitting on the coffee table versus in the HT equipment rack so I haven't bothered with any further noise reduction yet; it's quiet enough as is.

Problem found: it was the heatsink...
Now it is running/idling at more normal temperatures.
