[The PIT]

I've just bought an Antec True Power eps12v Power supply for my upgrade.

The motherboard is an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe and has the 24 pin ATX connector.

Checking the pin outs has me worried. Pin 20 according to the Motherboard is a ground connection. My Antec has no connection to the pin. Checking the ATX 2 spec indicates that pin 20 has no connection. I've checked the connections on another Power supply which is sli specific and that has no connection on pin 20 either.

So is the motherboard manual wrong or has the Asus a non standard connection? Or this the pin connected via the motherboard. Is the power supply I bought correct?

I would have thought that if you have other Gnd pins and sockets that actually meet then you have no problem.

If you have enough other ground pins...

There are so many ground pins in a mb power connector though, you don't need to worry TP, even without knowing who is "right", according to the spec.
