First of all, I've had this problem for a while now, seeked much help but found no solution.
Details of the Problem and it's nature:
My computer, for no apparent reason, randomly reboots frequently. It doesn't seem to happen at any particular point/time or after I initiate any task or, end it. That is why I call it random. :P
It does not happen more, or less, when playing Games, when not playing Games (I don't even really play Games on my PC), when I'm surfing the net, when I'm not surfing the net. Like I said, it seems to be COMPLETELY random.
What the computer will actually do is, I'll be doing whatever I may be doing, whether it be closing the AOL Instant Messenger window or opening Mozilla Firefox and my computer will reboot, I've set it not to automatically reboot so it infact takes me to a BSOD, I have recieved very many different BSODs, there are a couple that repeatedly come up more times than any others but, I have recieved a variety of them.
My Computers Spec
I'll put what I think it relevant, for e.g. the monitor is not
Processor: Athlon 64-bit 3000
RAM: 1* 512MB DDR 400 PC3200
Mobo: MSI K8N Neo
PSU: 450W
HD: Maxtor 60 Gig (I think it's a maxtor, I'm not sure this matters though)..
OS: Windows 2000 Pro Update (updated from Windows 98SE)
If there's anything you want to know which could help solve this problem, please let me know. I thank you all for your help and input and I would be incredibly grateful if anyone managed to help me fix this problem. I wouldn't be able to thank you enough.
