  • Maple 9.5 question (more or less urgent)

    Hello,

I currently need to use Maple and have never used it before. I managed to enter the formulas I wanted, and integrate them symbolically.

Then I tried an example, and entered some values: "a:=0; b:=1; ..." and let it calculate.

However, if I recalculated the sheet, and it turns out Maple uses these values throughout the page. So my most important question is: how can I let Maple forget these sample values? (I had to restart it, just closing the worksheet wasn't enough )

Secondly, is there a way to have an example with real values without it impacting the calculations above it?

    Thanks!

    Never mind, I found it...

Subsitution is global for Maple. Either entering 'restart' at a prompt, or redefining the values nullifies the definitions.
