  • How many displays do you use?

Just kind of curious to see how many displays everyone uses on their main machine. Obviously it will be higher than the norm as this IS a matrox forum, but I'm still curious none-the-less.

    Normally 2 displays:
    Eizo L568 (17" LCD, 1280x1024) and a Philips Brilliance 107 (17" CRT, 1280x960).
    (dual head independant)

Depending on my work at hand, the Eizo is rotated in portrait mode. Occasionally, I use dual head stretched with the above monitors and my TV as a feature display.

I used to use 3 when i had my Parhelia in my main PC. I came to the realisation that i wanted to play newer games more than i wanted Windows Desktop space so i changed Video Cards and now only use the 1 monitor.
ASUS P8Z68-V Pro Motherboard, Intel Core i7 2600K CPU @ 4.3GHz, G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 32GB DDR3 Ram, Pioneer DVR-219L DVDRW, OCZ Vertex 3 120GB SSD, Western Digital Black 1TB SATA HDD, Sapphire Radeon R9 280X 3GB, Everything being driven by Windows 10 Professional (64Bit)...

2: An Eizo T68 19" CRT that I bought used for 90 EUR on ebay, and my old Iiyama Vision Master Pro 17. Amazingly, after almost nine years of constant daily use, the Iiyama still has a perfect picture. Better sharpness, contrast and much more beautiful colors than the Eizo (though I don't think the Eizo has always been this bad. That's the risk you take when buying things used. Still was a good deal though, I'm just very picky.).

I feel so left out using only one display.

I have 2 Samsung 172X but currently only use 1. I didn't make much use of the second display (unless when viewing a website and editing an office document at the same time), so I lent it to my sister.

Going to be a bit extreme here and admit to 5, Have a dell 2405 on my parhelia, and a G200 MMS running a dell 2001 LCD, 2 samsung 21" CRT's and a Eizo 20" CRT. Use my PC for working from home and just got the 24" dell a week ago. The only dissapointment was that as i have a Parhelia and not P750 i cannot run both LCD's from the parhelia as it does not support independant resolution over dual DVI, so im currently having to run the 20" dell from the G200 over analogue.

I am faithful to one display. Hard to make more room for the 21" beast.

Hey Az, Good to see you around here again!!!
