3*1280*1024 ( 18.1" TFT) on my Parhelia (as voted) and 2*1600*1200 (21" CRT) at home.

I think I'm gonna try and replace the CRTs with TFT during this year - they take up way too much room.

One, though I plan on getting a second hand 17" Samsung 710N to match my current one.

            Only one - 17' Eizo F520, 1280x1024@90Hz.

Must somehow use that 2 free video ports in the future...or at least one.

One of my main rigs has a Parhelia set to 3840x1024 triplehead with an RT.X100 realtime editing card, which provides it's own vidout. Total = 3 17" Viewsonic VE710s LCD's and one 14" JVC TMH-150CGU multi-input NTSC/PAL 4:3/16:9 production monitor.

I do use 2 17" Sony LCD´s on a Radeon X800pro. But I do admit I got the multimonitor bug with my old G400 Dual-Head. I still regret Matrox has lost the race on desktop video cards.

I had 2 19in with 20 inch CRTs when I had my Parhelia, since then I've been running either a 2000FP or now a 2405FPW. Never really had much need to more then one monitor.

Only 1, at each station. Would have been 2, but one went, so had to split between the remaining systems.

I thought I was the only one with one CRT and one LCD. The CRT is my primary, it's a Mitsubishi 2070. I also have my LCD in portrait mode (Samsung 740T). Gives me a couple more inches of desk space

2 - The 14" screen on the iBook and a widescreen 20" Dell (same one someone else here has).

Hmm I hope you have better luck than me, I used a 15" samsung tft together with a HP 15" laptop screen at work and the different brightness levels really screwed my eyes, gave me a lot of astigmatism or however you spell it. I really really wouldn't recommend it!

At home, LG Flatron 795FT and Iiyama VM Pro 413, both 17 crts. I often have them at different colour temps for print and screen work. (Which would alter the brightness as above, but it seems to be ok).

Surprisingly, the Dell and the iBook aren't too far off in terms of brightness and contrast as to be distracting. Much better than the difference between the iBook and my old 17" CRT... now that was wretched

Not sure what the clinical term or description would be, but about four years ago I suffered from partial, temporary blindness. Basically I'd stressed my eyes out from too many hours in front of a monitor (might surprise some that I worked more back then than I do now). Started with not being able to keep my eyelids open and then progressed into a total lack of control - couldn't focus and everything was a dim, almost colorless version of what it once was. Took about two weeks to return to normal. Not a pleasurable experience, especially psychologically.
