    Same with XP. It does not need a swap file either.

        With a gigabyte of ram and my biggest resource hog being UT2004, it is not needed.

            There are apps that go bonkers if you don't have a swap file, even if you've got plenty of free RAM.

                Somehow it was perfectly fine with apps I'm using... (note: yep, I know this is unusual way in which Windows is configured and was expecting troubles...and knew how to solve them)
