Hello,
I have a problem regarding faxing using a pc and bluetooth connected phone (in my case a Nokia 6260).
Using the widcomm bluetooth icon, I connected to the fax-service of the telephone. Windows XP then pops up a dialog box, saying that the fax is connected and that I can now send/receive faxes.
So I open a program (word), type something, select print and choose the fax. It then asks me for the phone number and starts dialing (this also shows on the phone!).
After about 50s, it times out, saying there was no reply on the other side.
I know for a fact that there should be a reply, as I'm testing by sending to my office fax (correct number).
Weird thing is: the display of the office-fax (the one I'm sending to) lights up and changes from 'sleep mode' to 'receiving'. But it never starts to print, and the display goes dark again (after the same 50s).
I'm stumped: the fax sees an incoming signal, yet the fax doesn't come through.
Any ideas?
(the office fax is a Brother MFC device)
edit:
Receiving is also not working. I connect (just as before) and open the fax monitor. When the call comes in, I click 'receive fax', but the phone hangs up.
(but sending is more important for me)
