  • Removing Norton Antivirius Client from PC's

Anyone have any luck getting rid of NAV Corp edition client from PC's? The uninstaller for it BLOWS donkey nuts, often not removing the program. I tried Synatecs suggestions for removing it from the registiry...but it doesnt work for the most part. I have about 95 workstations with only 3 of them that working properly with NAV Server...so any suggestions would be good. I'm running 7.6 and tried installing 9 over it (both with and without uninstalling)...but it doesnt work
Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

        Format C always works.

Don't know whether the removal utility programme works or not for the Corp edition. At least they do have a cleaning tool for the Joe Public versions unlike Mcafee.

It's annoying when companies cannot remove there own junk properly.

          It's Norton...

My advice is to low-level format, then exorcise the drives. To be sure, throw them in molten metal anyway. Sterilize screen, mouse and keyboard. Cleanse the users of Symantec's brainwashing (note: They will die in the process from the necessary lobotomization).
