What software is recomended for converting an unprotected DVD to a video file?

PGC.net seems to be able to extract an individual PGC to a single VOB file. Testing.

Edit:
Been viewing the DVD on a virtual drive, watching a movie file for comparison with Auto-Gordian Knot converting even off the same virtual drive with barely an impact on performance. Gotta love hyper threading, serial ATA drives with 8MB cache, and a GB of DDR2 memory.

Also works with PGC (~15MB/s) and auto-gordian (79-95% CPU usage) running at the same time.
