Am I correct in understanding that the general HDMI cables that are to be used on LCD TV monitors (type A ) are only equivalent to single link DVI cables.
So 1900 x 1080p @ 60Hz is beyond what the connector can do? or will it be limited to 30/24Hz.

Dual-link cables are only required for those huge 30" computer screens from Dell and the like.
