No hidden settings for ASUS, generally it's on the Main bios page after selecting the specific drive you want to change settings for... not sure about SATA or RAID, you could try looking it up in the manual...

Well, disabling the Enhanced Interface for SATA seemed to work.
So far
Will try to get SuperPi and such asap.PC-1 Fractal Design Arc Mini R2, 3800X, Asus B450M-PRO mATX, 2x8GB B-die@3800C16, AMD Vega64, Seasonic 850W Gold, Black Ice Nemesis/Laing DDC/EKWB 240 Loop (VRM>CPU>GPU), Noctua Fans.

Just Installed PC Probe II and i have 49°C Idle@1.4V@4.01GHz
MB Temp is 34°C
The CPU Drops to 44°C tho, and thats probably due to the fact i have no video drivers installed yet.PC-1 Fractal Design Arc Mini R2, 3800X, Asus B450M-PRO mATX, 2x8GB B-die@3800C16, AMD Vega64, Seasonic 850W Gold, Black Ice Nemesis/Laing DDC/EKWB 240 Loop (VRM>CPU>GPU), Noctua Fans.

SuperPi 1M = 32s temp jumps to 47°C
I think there might be some more room yet.

Found the SMART thing.
You actually have to presss RETURN on the Hard drive on the main page.
In the non-award BIOS, its just a setting, elsewhere.

Up to 1.5V Vcore.
205MHz FSB
4109MHz
45°C Idle CPU
33°C Chipset (its after 10pm it getting cooler )
54°C Load, VCore drops to 1.45V
SuperPi = 31s
VCore goes up to 1.5V after, when at idle... weird it goes back up when its NOT on load...PC-1 Fractal Design Arc Mini R2, 3800X, Asus B450M-PRO mATX, 2x8GB B-die@3800C16, AMD Vega64, Seasonic 850W Gold, Black Ice Nemesis/Laing DDC/EKWB 240 Loop (VRM>CPU>GPU), Noctua Fans.

backed down to 4014GHz.
CineBench 9.5 crashed when i tried to run the CPU etst @4.1GHz
Kept the voltage at 1.45V tho, since it seems to need it.
@4014MHz
CineBench 9.5 :
1xCPU = 348 CB-CPU
2xCPU = 646 CB-CPU

Right.
A little recap: Its Stable in all the software i have tried so far @ 4014GHz@1.45V
SuperPi, Sandra 2007 Lite, CineBench, PCMark 05 (dont have WMV encoder etc installed).
Gonna try to tighten the latencies on the memory a bit to see what can be done, and if its useful at all.
Its stable.

Managed to get the memory timings down to 3-3-3-10@DDRII-800 stable at 2.3V.
Still at 4014MHz, and dropped the voltage a little bit to 1.435V
just doing a little DivX test atm.
Encoding Kung Fu Hustle into DivX at 1280x720@5Mbps
The temperature peaked at 66°C
Idle is 47°C
quite a jump...and it crashes after 3mins...
Hmmm, more fan needed, up to 12V on the fan thenPC-1 Fractal Design Arc Mini R2, 3800X, Asus B450M-PRO mATX, 2x8GB B-die@3800C16, AMD Vega64, Seasonic 850W Gold, Black Ice Nemesis/Laing DDC/EKWB 240 Loop (VRM>CPU>GPU), Noctua Fans.

there are both Intel and AMD variations of both the XP and SI.
I love my SI120, keeps my 3ghz prescott at 3.6 at 40C idle 50C load. Never hit 4ghz though, good job!Q9450 + TRUE, G.Skill 2x2GB DDR2, GTX 560, ASUS X48, 1TB WD Black, Windows 7 64-bit, LG M2762D-PM 27" + 17" LG 1752TX, Corsair HX620, Antec P182, Logitech G5 (Blue)

Its only just at 4GHz, during encoding it crashes every time. The temp reaches 70°C Max. but after a few hours, Xmpeg crashes, and thats it.
WIndows is OK tho.
I tried to run two instances of SuperPi and was met with errors on the second instance immediately.
Probably since i pushed the timings to 333-10
gonna put back to 444-12 and see if thats better.

The 4112NHH3 was unavailable, but does 182CFM at ~60dB...PC-1 Fractal Design Arc Mini R2, 3800X, Asus B450M-PRO mATX, 2x8GB B-die@3800C16, AMD Vega64, Seasonic 850W Gold, Black Ice Nemesis/Laing DDC/EKWB 240 Loop (VRM>CPU>GPU), Noctua Fans.

And have upped the voltage to 1.5V...
edit: hmmm, might just crack out the 2x120mm rad and get it liquid cooled...
Its the same case that i had my Mobile XP 2400 in at 2.6GHz, so it has a big hole in the top for the rad. Its just the pump died (leaving a nice white deposit throughout the system) and i'm not sure the rad isn't full of crap, and the µchannel wtareblock also...
have to wait for some more money methinks...Last edited by Evildead666; 17 July 2006, 09:37.PC-1 Fractal Design Arc Mini R2, 3800X, Asus B450M-PRO mATX, 2x8GB B-die@3800C16, AMD Vega64, Seasonic 850W Gold, Black Ice Nemesis/Laing DDC/EKWB 240 Loop (VRM>CPU>GPU), Noctua Fans.

Its officially too HOT to do any benches until nearly the weekend
I found out that when i try to run two instances of SuperPi, taxing both cores, even at 444-12 it bums out on the second instance immediatly.
Gonna try 555-15 and then will have to DownclockPC-1 Fractal Design Arc Mini R2, 3800X, Asus B450M-PRO mATX, 2x8GB B-die@3800C16, AMD Vega64, Seasonic 850W Gold, Black Ice Nemesis/Laing DDC/EKWB 240 Loop (VRM>CPU>GPU), Noctua Fans.
