Be careful when you license from MS. This may look pretty, but make sure this is a one time purchase and not a yearly subscription fee. MS has more than one licensing structures.

Also be certain Vista will work in your environment before jumping on the bandwagon. Vista has bee pretty good so far with compatibility, but it's not perfect and a lot of custom apps won't work. Thorough testing is a must to see if Vista is a viable solution when it comes out.

Office 2007 is pretty rock solid though, so no worries there. Haven't even had plugin and addon troubles with it ... yet.
