Overclocking

hi, i just recently recieved my vanila G400 32meg crad, and i wanna overclock it. I dont now what software to use so can someone please give me a link that will let me download some overclocking utility for the card.

If u want 2 OC your Card MAKE A BIOS BACKUP with yours Matrox UTILITES (EMERGENCY DISK)

wait for MGATWEAK utilites there are in beta now & looking wery good...

if things works fine why should you OC...?
right now performance geting with OC the card isnt much bout few FPS..

Some TIPs

disable 32bit Zbuff in matrox Properties
download REGHACKS & disable Vsynch (Vsynch OFF)..Set your Desktop to 16bit ,general use 16bit settings in all games..this should give to u a litle boost...good luck

16-bit?? What exactly is the point in buying a G400 then unless you are going to enable 32-bit rendering? In most games (especially OpenGL/Glide ones) a Voodoo3 3000 would run faster than a G400, at a significantly lower $ cost.

Yes, I know the G400 will do better at some Direct-3d games, still the relatively expensive pricetag for the G400 does not justify using it in 16-bit mode.

Jon , Jon,Jon....I newer sed that 32 bit is not playable or TOOO SLOOWWW...it is, & wery good looking and smooth...but I know ther are some people that have FPS seeknes...so I postet that TIP only for incrasing FPS performance...& G400 beats all compet cards at HGH res 1024X768X32 and above...
