Drive Is Opening In "Search Results" Window

I must have messed up somthing. I remember installing and uninstalling a software DVD player.
Ever since, whenever I click on a HDD icon it opens the Search Resulst Window.
Is there a way to fix this and get the icon to open the drive and display the items
in it as supposed.
