Oh those devils at Microsoft. My RC2 of Vista lasts until July but as of yesterday the DVD decoder has expired.
Of course because it's beta it doesn't say that - Media Center just complains that the DVD decoder has malfunctioned or is not present. Setting the date back to tuesday fixed it immediately however. Living in the past is not going to make recording TV any easier.
so I find myself needing to get a 3rd party DVD decoder for Vista - Any suggestions?
the gfx card is a X1300 but it used to play perfectly nicely with PureVideo.
