My university doesn't, no. Of course if you are forced to use IE, you have to use it - but that's not what I was talking about.

Then what were you talking about? I don't think Doc specified why he had those bookmarks.

FWIW, the old ATI drivers site used to be IE only, too.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

I was talking about my surfing in response to doc talking about his. You seem to be mad at me - why?

And if I were thinking about buying a graphics card and torn between ATI and nV (and they seem to be quite close), this would have been the deciding factor to get an nVidia card. Why not?

It's mainly sites like the Digital Media Net forums (in their propriatory forum s/w the edit buttons don't render/operate correctly); the Detroit News & Free Press (story text at bottom of pages w/excessive whitespace above); the Space.com & CNN video popups (videos don't play).

If it's a site I plan on visiting regularly I add it to the IETab "always render" list. Otherwise I use the context menu for one-offs.
