Other ways to get dual displays?

I was wondering since it seems I will never get my G400 MAX and that Matrox is ALREADY announcing new G400 products so I might as well wait. So, in the mean time, since I already bought two monitors.. Does anyone have any experience with having two video cards and going for dual display with that?

That is no problem if you have PCI slots free, or you can use a APPIAN card, they have dual or quad cards, and you can use 4 quad card in the same computer, 16 monitors.. www.appian.dk
