Now, this is just rumor, but the latest I read was that even nVidia usually couldn't get the nv10 over 130Mhz.

There is a pre-release review in the new PC Pro magazine (UK) of the GeForce256. It does sound pretty impressive (should I go for one of them instead of a G400 to eventually replace my trusty G200. The G400 is PC Pro's A-listed Graphics card at the moment). The G400 kicks it ass though in 2D. Sorry I can't remember the numbers. In 3D with both cards running at normal clock it's close.
