I have forgotten my email password.
Netscape nows it but how the *** do you get it out of it?
Do any one now how to coax it out of netscape?
(to get info from Micro$oft progs is super easy but not from NS)

    128 MB RAM
    19GB HDD Space!

Please elaborate... what password?? That of Netscape.net (which you can ask NS.Net if you've forgotten it), or the one your ISP gave you?? Should be the same as the one you log-in with on the internet!!

Since i use SoftHome.net they dont know my password (they told me that its stored encrypted).
But i have once entered it in to Netscape mesenger.
Netscape stores it in the registry but its ofcourse encrypted (again!)
      Any ideas?

"But i have once entered it in to Netscape mesenger."

Then you should have a piece of paper somewhere (from your ISP) which states your password?? Or did you throw it away??

I have to enter my password once every 14 days, because then messenger finds out my mail-program is in use by another program (?!!).

Can't you copy the ******'s that make your password when calling in to your ISP to your messenger window?

SoftHome is not my ISP(in that case it would not have been any problems)they are my "ESP"
          as in "Email Service Provider"
And i chosed the password myself And i did wrote it down and Saved it to a text file on my drive!!!
BUT that was over a year ago and CIH ate my HDD and who knows what ate the writen note!
(i had an backupp of netscapes user files but not the password txt file)
And in Netscape it isnt poosibol to get the password from a bunch of "*"

If softhome provides the e-mail service to you, they should be able to "override" your password and put a new one in it's place. Then you should be able to access your e-mail, and re-setup your own chosen password.

BTW - always store your password in some other NV (non-volatile) location. I have a watch that stores info, under it's own password, that keeps that kind of info for me.
