So I jumped in head first and installed the 7.4. They work good, good performance, doesn't take up much ram, loads up quickly, no problems during installation.

              Drivers seem fine.

AVIVO converter can only be described as 'flaky'. Does a lovely job converting DVR-MS files to WMV about one in ten times. The rest cause Vista to report that the CCC stopped working and that I should 'download a fix from ATi' whose link leads to some packages for XP that appears to be for an All in Wonder card. Which I do not have.

This seems to be par for the course on Vista atm - things that kinda work will run one in four times.

Been using now for 4 days and so far I'm pleased with the performance and stability. No corruption anywhere, games run smooth, takes up little ram as compared to the 7.3.
