  • Voodoo1 and G400

Can I run my old voodoo1 card and my G400 card together, if so , is there anything I need to do to get this to work well
    Thanks

    G400 32Mb turboGL and 5.41
    128Mb ram
Voodoo1 (for old time sakes )

In theory yes, you can, but, why would you want to?!? The G400 is sooooo much faster and its image quality is so much better. OK, you may say Glide. But most games now worth anything have D3D or OGL equivalents.

The G400 would run much better if you burned your Voodoo1 and sprinkled the ashes around your PC when you run it..

I am afraid to admit that SteveC is right (except for that "sprinkled the ashes around your PC" ) I am running a MAX with 2 Canopus Voodoo 2's in SLI and I am barely even using them... but gee it looks great when you look in my PC

i would go with the G400 only... my poor voodoo's in SLI are not being used much these days... i just keep them since they look good!! (you gotta love seeing those two cards with fans on them in your system )
