AMD K6-III 450, Asus P5A and Matrox Mystique PCI

There is an icompatibility with the PCI Busmastering and the K6 Write Allocate feature.
There are problems with the drivers 4.11.01.4310 and K6-III (when I return from Dos-Prompt the system hang).

There is some solution or upgrade or patch ?

Are you running the latest BIOS for your motherboard? Also, what version of Windows are you running? If it's W95, you need to apply a patch.

Hi,
You may want to verify what chipsets you're using. If your're using the VIA chipsets, you might want to go to www.viatech.com and get the 4-in-1 patch (4.14) and install that. It should have the files for the IRQ routing, the AGP and BUS Mastering patches and the chipset registry entries.
If you're not sure what chipsets you have, you might want to visit your motherboard's web site and check it out.

Your Asus P5A mobo uses ALi V chipset and you can grab all the drivers you need at
www.ali.com.tw or www.asus.com.tw

Latest ALi AGP drivers version is 1.6e and latest BIOS revision is 1007a (BETA BIOS 1008BETA1 came out a while ago).
