  • Asus Probe giving warnings

I just installed Asus PC probe for curiosity and it's giving me warning about voltages! Assistance needed.
    VCORE: 2.2
    +3.3: 3.5
    +5: 5.0
    +12: 11.9
    -12: -12.5
    -5: -4.9

It's giving me warnings on all the voltages, but +12V. Should I be worried?
BTW it's a P5A with K6-3/450 clocked as 110x4=440. All voltage settings are set to CPU defaults.

And another thing.. I've got a powerfull 2-fan cooler on top of that CPU, and the temp is ~45C/115F and mobo ~31C/88F when running SETI client. Is that good? (I'm concerned while I can't oc it above 450..)

    Thanks for advice

On my P3B-F the warnings and alarms went off all the damn time. I have realized that ASUS is way to picky about the temps and voltages on the board and chips. That and on the P3B-F the heat sensors are not accurate at all. It will say my CPU is at 190 degrees F, but when I turn off the computer and put my hand on it, it is no hotter that 100 degrees F or so. That is why I normally have all the heat sensors disabled and the CPU voltage monitor disabled.

Just ignore it and unistall the Pc probe program.I had exactly the same problem with the 5volts and its nothing to worry.
Use the bios power manager every time u restart to check the settings or get Sisoft Sandra .

Sorry, my mistake.. I installed it to W2K and seems like the default thresholds got all messed up during the install. Setting them explicitly to default values got rid of the warnings. (all values are between the threshold values)
